Timothy Mitchell has been in practice for over 25 years. He began as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Howard County. Later, in 1996, Mr. Mitchell began a criminal defense practice after joining the firm of Joseph, Greenwald & Laake. In 2000, Mr. Mitchell opened his private practice office and has since that time taken a leading position in the fight to defend the rights of people accused of any criminal offense in Maryland and in the District of Columbia.
Mr. Mitchell has also devoted time to improve the legal profession by serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Baltimore Law School. He has been the President of the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorney’s Association, and involved with the Howard County Bar Association as the Chair of the Criminal Committee. He was also a candidate for judge in 2015.

Mr. Mitchell’s hobbies include golf, flying Remote Controlled airplanes, and playing the guitar.
